Yes, you can switch between plans anytime. However, since OpenSettings uses a one-time payment model, you will need to purchase a new license. A new license key will be issued upon upgrading, but your old key will remain valid until it naturally expires.
What happens if my license expires?
If your license expires, your access will automatically downgrade to the Community Edition. You can still use the application, but premium features may no longer be available, and some functionality might not work as expected.
What happens if I add multiple different licenses?
If multiple licenses are added, the highest edition with the longest expiry date takes precedence.
What’s included in the Community Edition?
The Community Edition is free for personal and non-commercial use and open-source under the MIT License. It includes core features but does not offer priority support, advanced customization, or premium features available in paid plans.
What is the Sponsors Page in the Community Edition?
The Sponsors Page is a dedicated section where we showcase companies and individuals who support OpenSettings. If there are active sponsors, their projects will be featured there.
Can I remove the Sponsors Page in the Community Edition?
No, the Sponsors Page is a part of the Community Edition and cannot be removed. If you prefer a version without it, you can upgrade to a Paid Edition.

Paid Editions (Personal, Professional, and Enterprise) include premium features such as priority support, custom templates, and advanced settings. The Enterprise plan offers tailored solutions, and pricing is available upon request.
Do the Paid Editions require an internet connection?
No, Paid Editions use offline license keys that do not require an internet connection. The license remains valid for its duration and does not require online verification.

Community Edition users can access community forums and documentation. Paid users receive priority support via email and custom SLAs.
Can I request new features in Paid Editions?
Yes! Feature requests are prioritized for Paid Edition users, especially Professional and Enterprise plans. Please submit your request via email and include your license reference id for verification.
What’s your refund policy?
Due to the nature of software and offline license keys, all purchases are final, and refunds are not provided. We encourage users to review features before purchasing.
